I have wondered if the music I compose and produce is different when I compose it for clients instead of producing it for myself. Furthermore, I am also interested in whether and to what extent my workflow differs in this regard. In this post, I would like to explore these questions and also find out what the reasons might be.

With this post, I would like to complement the post about sample libraries. The trigger was that synth libraries kept appearing in searches for new virtual music tools, which was never my intention. I will try to explain why I consider this a problem.

At the end of 2019, I embarked on an experiment and created a profile on the content platform Audiojungle. In this post, I want to share my experiences and also express my opinion about it. To put it simply and summarize: Audiojungle prioritizes quantity over quality, and operates in an opaque and inconsistent manner.

When it comes to producing music, I utilize various digital software tools to achieve an authentic sound. In the realm of digital sound generation, there has been, in my opinion, a tendency towards redundancy in recent years. I believe that too many resources are being invested in seemingly new but fundamentally repetitive products. In this post, I want to shed some light on this issue more specifically.

I have already philosophized about the concept of value in music. Now, I would like to reflect on how I actually assess music qualitatively for myself.
